WebSite Consultant here to help

Would you rather save some money and DIY?

I do understand that web designer fees can seem a bit high, but the knowledge of how to go about building a website and coding a website that will be most effective for your business is not easy to come by.

I can let you pick my brain so that you can build your website yourself and leave some money in your pocket. I only charge $45 per hour as a web consultant and I will spend about 1-3 hours helping you go through the steps of setting up your own website.

  • Getting a domain name – ( i.e.  StartLogic, BlueHost, JustHost )
  • Purchasing a hosting account
  • Setting up WordPress
  • Configuring WordPress for SEO
  • Creating pages for your website
  • Creating a blog
  • Choosing a WordPress Theme
  • Installing Helpful plug-ins
  • Creating Contact Forms
  • Setting up your hosts e-mail account
  • Utilizing an FTP Program Like Filezilla

Above all, I will still recommend that you hire a professional to build your website.

For example, I want a pool in my backyard. I don’t have all of the knowledge and tools it requires do the job properly. I think I can do a fair amount of work to make it look like a pool, but it won’t have the same effect of what a professional could build. I’m a web designer. I’ll stick to my profession and higher a professional pool builder. Then I know the job will be done right and I’ll be able to focus on what I do best, make money building websites. Instead of loosing money by chewing up valuable time learning a new profession.

When you’re ready to get started on your website, give me a call at (916) 202-5178 and leave a message on my voice-mail.
